As a member of DAR, through participation in the Society's various programs and activities, you can actively support historic preservation, promote education, and take part in patriotic endeavors. Any woman is eligible for membership who is at least eighteen years of age and can prove lineal, blood line descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence.
